It finally happened as Texas destroyed Oklahoma 45-12. :D

DALLAS -- All that heartache, all that angst, all that humiliation generated by five straight losses to Oklahoma.

All that hoping, all that dreaming of that day at the Cotton Bowl when Texas would win once again -- all of it came true.

And what a letdown. The No. 2 Longhorns pummeled the Sooners 45-12 in a game with all the competitive drama of election night in Russia.

You can pat UT on the back all you want. However, compared to previous games between the two, this one didn't mean as much towards national ramifications because OU just flat out stinks this year.

Redemption for the Longhorns indeed, however I think Mack Brown has bigger games to worry about (i.e Texas Tech) that could cause harm along the way. This is a win over OU,but the Longhorns need to wake up feeling just like they did after they beat ULL. "We won, now let's get ready for the next one."

OU is bad, and the Big 12 is real bad, T Tech and Texas are the only good teams right now IMO

Yes, A&M is out of that classification totally now. They got blown out by CU last night.

Kudos to the Longhorns. They'll take down those low-IQ Sycamore-beaters from Lubbock, I have no doubt! :p

Big XII Championship Preview?

Colorado vs Texas? Then again, CU has gotta play Nebraska for those honors. One of those two should emerge as I don't think K-State is anything to write home about...

K-State?? Hardly. They should refund money to all those hapless souls who sat through that 12-3 yawner against Kansas.
