I had never heard of the NWE, as I do not follow much international wrestling outside of maybe a once awhile look at AAA or the Japanese promotions, but looked it up. Premier wrestling promotion in Italy. Stars include Juventud Guerrera, Big Vito, Heidenreich, Joe E. Legend, Mark Jindrak, Ultimo Dragon and Vampiro. Not too bad a group for an overseas promotion.

If you watched some his matches, namely his Wrestlemania VII 'retirement match' against Macho Man, he ends up without his face paint.
