Unfortunately they're having technical difficulties, but I can report that the Griz lead 12-0 in the 1st Qtr, on a TD they just scored (don't know who, how yet), a FG and a safety. Griz are pretty dominant at the moment.

Talmage caught a TD from Berquist.

Yes!!!!     So Berquist seems to be doing well?

Yup, it's 12-7 Griz. We need to march down and get a score.

I was out smoking, but I guess ISU kicked a FG. 12-10 Griz. ISU really coming alive now.

About 6:00 to go in the 1st half.

Penalties are killing us. ISU is starting to roll.

Tod

Griz go for a fake punt, get first down yardage...PENALTY takes it back to the Griz 19. 4th down.

How did we just get the ball?

Tod
October 8th, 2005, 06:24 PM
Griz intercept on their own five (whew!). 60 seconds left in the first half. Griz have all three timeouts. Hilliard run, doesn't look like they're going to try to score. Two runs by Hilliard, out to the 16, first down... First half over. 12-10 Griz.

On a third and 26 play, Hilliard has a 76 yard run for the TD. :) :) :)

19-10 Griz.

If Hilliard hadn't at least made the first down or come very close, that would have been called a stupid play.

Probably not a stupid play if it's a field position move. But a TD works, too. :)

Griz recover an ISU fumble and immediately get flagged for taunting. 14 penalties for 133 yards so far. What a bunch of...

Griz are workin' it. It's kind of cool that Bergquist is showing Bobby Hauck what's up.

Wow. Amazing what some offense and a kicking game will do.

64 yard punt! Down at the ISU eight yard line.

Berquist is something like 16/22 for 170 yards and 2 TDs.

Pretty good. I think we've found our QB, finally.

Griz looked really good today. Defense is very underrated, and they are rated pretty high. I knew Berquist would either continue the woes, or be the spark the Griz offense needed. I think we all know which one he did. :)

Even as I speak the D creates another turnover, what a hit!
