It's no secret TXST was lacking speed on defense last year. If there was any indication TXST went after speed this year it is it's representation in the Texas 5A (highest level) Track Championship to take place May 9th -10. Three Bobcats will represent their High Schools one last time before they come together under the Maroon and Gold of TXST.

FB recruit Darryl Morris qualified for the 100 and 200 with speeds of 10.89 and 21.67. Will most likely play Corner

FB recruit Mishak Rivas qualified the 400 with a time of 48.14. Will line up on offense at the Slot position.

FB recruit Dominac Maddox qualified in the Judson 800 relay team. Their time was 1.26.94. Will Most likely play safety.

QB Recruit Tim Hawkins ran in the 300 hurdles aswell, made it to regionals but wont be continuing on.

Wow! Not bad at all. Sounds like Texas State is going to add some speedy players on both sides of the ball.
