Read in the paper on Monday that former Northwestern State offensive tackle Demetrius Bell's father is former NBA superstar Karl Malone. The two are estranged; but kind of an interesting bit of trivia.

I thought his father was Moses Malone.

I couldn't believe it when I heard it.. what is it with these FCS players and their deadbeat NBA dads (Sedale Threatt Jr.)

I thought his father was Moses Malone.

Moses Malone has a son who was WR at Sam houston 2 years ago. Not sure if he's still there.

Sad, really. I hope Bell does well. I think it's hard not to pull for him after reading his story.
