This was a surprise I didn't expect.

Somewhat surprising on the surface, but considering the effect the salary cap has on situations like this, it's not that surprising. He'll catch on somewhere and have a couple more productive years.

So can Julius Jones and T.J. Duckett carry the load? Or was the real weakness in Seattle's run game always the loss of their offensive line? xchinscratchx

Still, kinda surprising, although the article says people in Seattle have been expecting it. Gotta think he'll find work somewhere. Might even mess up some people's mock drafts a bit if he goes to someone looking to draft an RB

Watch them gun for Johnathan Stewart if they can get him.

Stewart will be gone unless Seattle trades up to nab him...I figured the Hawks to grab a TE...maybe the kid from Purdue

I don't know, Stewart just had surgery so I think his stock might have dropped a bit for the first round.

[url]This was a surprise I didn't expect.

The signings of both Duckett and Jones along with the fact that Mo Morris has been just as effective as 37 the past two years made this a done deal. If there's any surprise, it's that it didn't happen on June 1.

Look at the success of Minnesota's run game since Hutchinson made the move.

But teams know his potential when he gets healthy...he wont be there at #25, he will be the 3rd RB taken...

I wuould expect the panthers to take a look at him they love veterans that are getting towards the end of their productive years.

Alexander says he has interest in the Pats and Colts.... he can come to New England if he dont mind splitting carries with Morris and Maroney. Will have to be a low base salary too.
