This is the second of several breakdowns i'm listing of the top FCS players at each position based on where they rank at their position from a consensus of several longtime scouting services and personel. Listed is overall rank and likely round picked..

I think Simpson or Hightower is going higher than the 7th.

I personally think Hightower will go higher also, but this is just an average ranking for each player and he's gotten some rave reviews from a few teams..

I personally think Hightower will go higher also, but this is just an average ranking for each player and he's gotten some rave reviews from a few teams..

A few people have him in the 5th round even. It would not shock me to see someone take him in the 5th or 6th. One player who teams are keeping quiet on is the Morgan State RB. I have heard he has a couple teams who want him in the mid rounds but it seems the media has not caught on yet.

Simpson is a quality player. He carried Morgan State on his back. Higtower is nice too. I could see either going in the 5th or 6th.

FWIW, on Todd McShay's mock draft today he had Felton the second FB taken behind Arkansas' Hillis.

I could actually see that. He should get drafted for sure.

There was an article on Hightower yesterday in the Richmond paper, with suggestion of being a 4th round choice.

I could see that. Would not surprise me to see him in 4th or 5th round. Also would not surprise me to see him in the 7th. Hopefully he lands in the 4th.
