EKU corner Antwaun Molden drew us the top sports headline in the (Louisville) Courier-Journal today. He's expected to go in the third (or maybe even second according to Kiper) round.

I believe his couterpart on the other side of the field, Derrick Huff will has also talked with a few teams about possible tryouts if he isn't drafted.

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie will likely be the highest draft choice from the FCS.

Jerome Simpson. xnodx

The funny thing about DRC is that his FCS status is never really brought up. While everyother FCS prospect is knocked for their level of competition they played. Why do you think that is?

McNeese's Bryan Smith

Furman's Jerome Felton in the late rounds.

I'd like to say Buck Buchanon Award-winner Kroy Biermann could get drafted in a later round, but I'm not sure.

I'm not exactly very knowledgeable about the Draft prospects this year. xlolx

I actually heard a guy on the radio knock a guy for playing at a "small school" Arkansas St but praised Cromartie for his play against FCS competion. He's a good player but I wasn't impressed in the one game I saw of him. Of course one game is enough to make an eval but I know he can make plays.

Top 10 prospect? I haven't really seen enough tape to make my own judgement. If I trusted the media he would be a legitimate top 10 pick, no questions asked.

I think Dexter Jackson will be off the board by the end of the 4th round.

FOR SURE
CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Tennessee State- not just likely he is the top FCS selection, it would be shocking if he isn't. possible top 15 pick.
QB Joe Flacco, Delaware- might go 1st round, no later than mid 2nd
CB Antwaun Molden, EKU
WR Jerome Simpson, CCU
WR Dexter Jackson, ASU
QB Josh Johnson, San Diego
DE Brian Johnston, Gardner-Webb- will not last past the early 5th round
DE Kendall Langford, Hampton
WR Arman Shields, Richmond
FS Corey Lynch, ASU
OG Kerry Brown, ASU
FB Jerome Felton, Furman
OT Thaddeus Coleman, MVSU

POSSIBLY
RB Chad Simpson, Morgan State
RB Tim Hightower, Richmond
DE/OLB Bryan Smith, McNeese State
OT Brandon Keith, Northern Iowa
LB Kroy Biermann, Montana
OT Demetrius Bell, NW State- he should go top 5 rounds IMO
WR Jason Jones, UAPB
WR Jayson Foster, GSU
LB Joe Mays, NDSU
P Mike Dragosavich, NDSU
TE Matt Sherry, Villanova
OT David Hale, Weber State
LB Vincent Redd, Liberty
C Brennen Carvalho, Portland State

Am I missing any names?

I certainly don't think Felton is a "for sure." He's one of the best fullbacks in there, but you can go many rounds without seeing one taken.

It would be a huge shock to not see Felton drafted. The top 3-4 FBs usually get drafted and he is a top 2 FB for sure.

The Rams had Vince Redd come out to St. Louis last week, and the Browns sent their president to our pro day, I think he's a definite draft pick somewhere.

Robert Morris WR Mario Hines and DB Mike Niklos are likely free agent pick-ups, but could get snagged in the 7th round.

I haven't seen him on any lists what so ever.

I don't think he will but I listed him as a possible pick. There are players every year not mentioned. That WR from Maine who the Raiders picked in 7th round was not on any sites and got drafted. I am willing to bed 1-2 players will get drafted that aren't even on my list.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings to see Felton go about 90 minutes north of Greenville to the Panthers.
