Hart Lee Dykes who was selected in the first round by the Patriots in the 1989 draft should have been in the top 10 of that list.
I can't believe he wasn't even on it.

Tony Mandarich should be in the top 10.
His name always seems to show up at or near the top of these kinds of lists. I'm surprised not to see it here.

If you're still in the league, I think you shouldn't be eligible yet. Ryan Leaf is the true definition of bust. Lots of those guys had unfortunate injuries that set them back and then they just never could get back. Rogers is the one that I think of.

Not sure Clarett should be considered a bust in the NFL (at life - yes). Bust compared to his year in college, yes but not in the NFL compared to where he was drafted or the terms of his contract (all or almost all incentive laden)

Aundray Bruce, LB, Auburn
How did he stay off the list?

You need to put Akili Smith, QB, Oregon in there somewhere. The Bengals thought Smith was the answer to their quarterback needs. They did get it right later, drafting Palmer.
At the risk of piling on the former Ducks, Joey Harrington could be up there, too. As with Smith in Cincinnati, Detroit thought Harrington would lead them to the Super Bowl one day.

I'm just glad that my Panthers don't have anyone on this list, but then again, if they did, it might be a better excuse for some of their performances.
