Have no idea whats going to happen with the defensive back situation. Other than that though SDSU should be pretty well off everywhere else.

You look ok at the skill positions on offense. Let's hope the O-line can keep the QB off his back long enough to complete the play. xeyebrowx
And I'm gonna guess SDSU may be just a TAD bit susceptible to the pass this year.... xcoolx

Yah im pretty worried about the pass defense, on the other hand the run defense should be solid as a rock

I truly believe that SDSU has turned the corner, as seen by their great home win against us last season.
They will compete for the Gateway title along with NDSU, UNI, Western Ill and Souther Ill

In my opinion SDSU won't have turned the corner until they make the playoffs. The Jacks have had some nice wins over the last few years but have posted 7-4 or 6-5 records continually, and at this level those records won't get you anywhere. That is the reality of being in a conference like the Gateway.
I think SDSU is fully capable of putting it all together but I want to see it happen first.

You might as well say that about NDSU then too.
DII and transition records are nice for recruiting but they don't mean jack in the Gateway.

NDSU and SDSU both have solid teams, thats the most important thing right now as they both enter the first year in the gateway. Next year is big for both teams in the department of proving themselves as a tough team in a tough conference.

Transition means something, but I won't say NDSU has turned the corner until the Bison host a playoff game.

With SDSU's schedule i feel pretty good predicting them to go 7-4 again.. hopefully 8-3

It would be nice to get out of the blocks solid this year. Weeks two and three will be very important for us this year! xthumbsupx

Your seniors and coaching staff have done a wonderful job laying the foundation for what I think is a much improved program. The last few years being in the hunt for a conference championship and then winning it last year is only going to help things also. I was very impressed last year how well your O and D-lines matched up and probably for the most part man-handled us from the opening snap. I expect very good things to come from SDSU in the coming years. All I know is any one coming out of the Gateway will be at least, if not more, as battle tested as the teams coming out of the CAA and the SoCon.

Things are getting better and better at SDSU. Work will begin soon on the new Student Athlete Development Center in the north end zone!
