These guys have all that money and not enough sense to have someone drive them around when they party

Limo Service: 100 an hour (and they go all night) xlolx

His shoe contract alone (never mind his salary) would cover two chauffer and a brand new limo

I am still confused why Denver police let someone who may be alone and is a suspect for a DUI drive home

He was ticketed and released at the scene, but Hahn did not know how he got home. Denver police don’t jail DUI suspects and Anthony was no exception, Hahn said.

Here's what the ESPN article said

Detective Sharon Hahn said Anthony failed a series of sobriety tests. He was charged with DUI and then taken to police headquarters before being released to a "sober responsible party," Hahn said. Anthony is due in court May 14.

He didn't drive home.

He did everything the police asked, (taking test, not giving them trouble), so they took him down like anyone else, booked him, and then released him to a SOBER 3rd party.

Since he's not a serial trouble maker, I'll say shat happens.
He's been stupid 3 times:
That video with his boy's when he first got to the league, that weak arse sucka punch and now this.

I would have a driver if I know I'm going clubbing.
But like everyday joe, sometimes you out rolling and get a call from someone saying we having a good time over here and want you to roll over.

Take a game suspspension and be done with it.
At least he didn't pull the "You know who I am" card.xlolx

New facts came out after I did my post - The MSNBC article said

Later the ESPN article said something different. My concern was not solely with the Carmelo scenario. It was more of a general, if Denver allows DUI suspects to be released right away at the scene and if they are alone, they are going to drive again. I may be wrong with the assumption of what happens (and hope I am) but if not, it seems that Denver is encouraging DUIs.

That is a weak arse law.
You get put in the back of a JPD here for DUI, you going to the lockup and they tow your car to the impound yard if there is not a sober, person with you that the car can be released too.

When you bail out is up to you once the booking process is finished.
