The schools in this league (albeit maybe Troy and North Texas) need to take a long-hard look in the mirror and face facts. They're not even a solid I-AA conference. :bang: This is from Sagarin.

12 BIG SKY (AA)= 56.90 56.61 ( 12) 8
13 SOUTHLAND (AA)= 55.61 54.86 ( 14) 7
14 ATLANTIC 10 (AA)= 55.16 55.77 ( 13) 12
15 GATEWAY (AA)= 54.62 53.85 ( 16) 8
16 SUN BELT (A) = 54.16 53.80 ( 17) 8
17 GREAT WEST (AA)= 54.02 54.16 ( 15) 6

You haven't seen Troy this year. Troy is extremely weak. They could not win the OVC much less any good conference.

Hey, the Sun Belt got a win against the SLC this year...

That doesn't happen all the time... :)

No it doesn't (thanks Northwestern State for that loss at Southwestern Louisiana (err, Louisiana-Lafayette). What is Louisiana-Monroe's record against the Southland the past five years.

A SunBelt OOC win doesn't happen very often period.

Now that was bad football! Did anyone watch the NT v Troy game last night? Niether of those teams could get above the middle of any I-AA conference.

Troy could not beat EKU or JSU this year. I may have Cal-Poly to high in my ranking, then.

Troy St loses were to South Carolina, Missouri, & UAB.
Not sure if you can call them weak yet.

We have played UAB, while they are a good team by no means are they great. Plus, several UAB players and coaches commented on JSU being a better team than Troy. JSU, as our record indicates, is no powerhouse this year.

South Carolina was beaten worse by Auburn than WKU and Missouri manhandled Troy, also.

This Troy team, the one I watched last night, is not a good football team.

The words of the coaches and players means more than comparative scores. We'll find out this weekend if Cal-Poly is for real.

That game was no indication of how bad SC is. They started a red shirt freshman QB because Mitchell was hurt. Couldn't you tell how bad it was going to be when he called a second timeout before he even ran the first play?
