It all starts with the quarterback and with Ricky Santos gone after four ultra-productive seasons, filling his talented cleats will be chore one – maybe even chore two and chore three – when the University of New Hampshire football team opens spring camp tomorrow afternoon.
There are plenty of other questions and things to accomplish, too, over the next 15 practice sessions leading up to the Blue-White Spring Game on May 3.
Who will join Mike Boyle and J.T. Wright as primary targets at wide receiver? How will offensive coordinator Sean Devine and his crew utilize a couple of promising redshirt freshman tight ends in Chris Jeannot and Sean Cullen? Can Sean McGowan and his guys on the other side of the ball, with some bulked-up guys up front, shore up the defense? Will the defense be able to generate more pressure on opposing quarterbacks?
