OK, sports fans. The CBS Sportsline article said Washington left the game in the 3rd qtr with a shoulder injury. I was no where near a computer, and was watching ASU collapse against USC. How did the backup QB look? Or is the article wrong....

I would say that the article is probably correct. JW got taken into the tunnel on a cart after he sat on the bech for awhile. He really got rocked on a blind side hit. Cole did ok. I don't think he really got to run the full offense. By the time he came in we were either deep in our own territory or trying to milk the clock so he didn't get to throw downfield. He did have a nice run & also a nice completion to Waller in a tight situation. It will be interesting to see what he does in the Potato Shack next weekend.

The most positve things I can say are, Berquist really didn't do anything to hurt the Griz, had a nice run, and he looked like a QB on the field...if you catch my drift.
I hope we're not in as much trouble as I think we might be in.
