There are 7 teams within 5 points of each other for 6 spots. Only Caps and Panthers are fighting for 1 of those spots for Division win and they are within 2 points with 3 games to go each and play each other one more time. Most of the teams have 3 or 4 games to go although the Rangers are tied with Philly for the 6th spot and have 5 to go.
