Darrin Horn has agreed to be interviewed for the South Carolina job.

Please don't take it for the love of god!!! Ala Dennis Felton please!!!!! xbawlingx

A provision in all WKU's contract is that if the head coach accepts a position. He is OBLIGATED to play a home/home series with the school is accepted.

WKU fans may see a WKU/South Carolina match in the schedule if he accepts.

Please don't take it, it's not worth it. xbawlingx xbawlingx xbawlingx xbawlingx

Last time S. Carolina was halfway decent in hoops they were in the ACC. Looks logical.

Getting paid hundreds of thousands more just to coach a different team is rarely not worth it. If he's interviewing, he obviously thinks it's worth it.

We know how you feel at UNI.

Iowa State stole our coach after we went to three straight tournaments.

Not knowing the whole situation, but did he go kicking and screaming about going to Ames? If he didn't want to go, he could have just said No. You can't fault him nor ISU.

I assume he meant that Iowa State offered the coach more money than UNI could have ever hoped to.

Halfway decent would include S. Carolina going to the NCAA Tournament as recent as 1998 and 2004. Also S. Carolina won the NIT in 2005 and 2006.

This year, Gamecocks lost on a three by Tennessee in the final seconds of the SEC Tournamnent semifinals. A win would of put the Cocks in the Championship game vs Georgia.

Carolina returns a strong nucleus next year, led by All Sec PG Devan Downey.

This is a great opportunity for a young coach. Awesome facilities and the chance to coach in the SEC.
