Basically they're playing a nine game SWAC schedule.

Is it me...or are they hosting Texas College? That's better than traveling to that sub-Div I school. A novel idea!

Not a bad schedule for Valley. It's not good that they are playing SWAC schools as OOC games, but the SWAC made the move too late and it's obviously impacting a few schools...so finger of shame to the SWAC! Then again, they should have never had the mandate...

Still better than doing a Texas Southern or Savannah State scheduling-wise...

Then you would just love them when all them DELTA DEVIL's jump up when their team run's out with the band playing "Devil's GUN".
Even though I'm J-State, I gotta admit I love that song being played when their team and that DEVIL mascot hit the field with their fan's singing that song. xlolx

The ONLY time I hated that song was back in the 1980's when they had Archie "Gunslinger" Coolie as coach and that "Satelite" Willie Totten/Jerry "World" Rice combo.

After 30 year's, they finally got that win over us in 1984 and those people went wild with that song.xlolx

Valley has a good atmosphere when JSU or Southern is there. But being in the country isn't much fun. xlolx
