It seems as if HC is starting to pool athletes from a national level. Minnesota, Ohio, Texas, California, Florida, South Carolina, and Kentucky, all good high school football states.

Even when I played 99-02, it always seemed Holy Cross had the most geographically diverse team in the Patriot. All we must do now is await the Mel Kiper of AGS, our friend Carney, to add his rankings.

Carney's Patsy ratings should be pretty good -- probably not great for at least two specific reasons. First, it is (intentionally) a small class (HC has 86 returning players on its Spring 2008 roster), and that will probably cost some Patsy points. Second, Carney had defensive line as the top priority for this class. I respectfully disagree, since HC has 5 sophomores-to-be DLs on its spring roster. IMHO, the priority should have been defensive back, and we seem to have gotten three good ones in this class.

Still, I look forward to his ratings and his reasons.

Wow, five kids from Ohio. Right out from under Dayton's nose.... I knew the PL was hitting Ohio hard.... Looks like a good class, especially those kids from Ohio!

Lots of "day job" crap going on today, guys. This will probably take a little longer than the others. I expect "sometime today" (Thursday the 27th), though.
