You got UNC vs Texas St-San Marcos on Sept. 20. Is there something we don't know? UNC lists Va Tech on Sept. 20.

The Marist-San Diego game isnt listed on Marist's schedule. Also, Marist confirmed in the video of their PFL announcement that they are playing Davidson sometime this year.

CAA teams play Maryland, Iowa, Connecticut, Duke, Navy, Texas Tech, Army, Ball State, Boston College, Virginia, West Virginia and NC State. Not bad, and some of those are definitely winnable.

Hate to break it to you but Hofstra will not beat UConn, so I would mark that as not winnable.
I'll give you Duke.
Ball St is not winnable, especially against arguably the worst team in the CAA. Lest you forget Ball St was a bowl team, and considered by many to be the favorite in the MAC this year. And before you give me the whole Central Michigan argument.....Northeastern is no North Dakota St.
I have no idea what rationale you could use to say that the Navy game is winnable. Navy beat Delaware last year, and I just don't think Towson is a Delaware.
Army.....well, maybe...but UNH lost a lot (Santos mostly)...this is why I call no on Army.
So let's recap.....I'll give you Duke (though personally, I think Duke will win this game), and maybe Army (again, I think Army will win).
So that's 2.

Two could be a couple, a pair, some, more than one, a few, and probably about 100 more ways to say it.....

Your knowledge of the CAA is somewhat lacking. Northeastern is usually a strong program quite capable of beating any MAC program. Delaware beat Navy last year, etc., etc.

Of course you would say that.

Really...Northeastern is usually a strong program? Is that why they were 3-8 last year, and haven't had a winning record since 2003? Capable of beating a MAC program (especially, arguably the top MAC program this year)....hardly.
My bad on the Delaware-Navy game...had it right on my sheet, just read it wrong. Still doesn't change the fact that Towson has no shot at beating Navy.
I understand y'alls desire to have your teams win these games against FBS teams, just like I wanted Montana to beat Iowa in 2006. But realism will serve you better.

Delaware, a team that was 5th best in the CAA last year is just one example of the strength of the CAA. That was my point. Towson and Northeastern are fully capable of beating ANY MAC team. No question on that one in my mind as someone who knows the CAA quite well.

Well, then your homerism is showing. Tell you what, after these games are played....if either Towson or Northeastern wins their respective games, I'll make a thread about how wrong I was. However, I fully expect the CAA to go 1-12 against the FBS, this year.

I don't know about NE but I did see Towson play Delaware on the computer last year and I think I saw one other game of theirs. Towson is a much better team than their record. They had a QB that was similar to Flacco at least in the early part of the year he looked and played similar. They were a team that could get chunks of yardage but seemed to falter when they needed to make a first down once in a while. I don't know if they can beat MAC teams or not but it wouldn't surprise me. They really are better than their record indicated.
