Good point. I went 6-2 tonight, lost on K-State and BYU. Overall 12-4 for the day with all my Sweet 16 teams looking good. Tomorrow should be about the same. St. Joe's, St. Mary's and WKU are the only possible oops IMO.

Pretty good day overall. Lost with Baylor and Southern Cal. Luckily, I had both of them going out in Round 2 anyway, so no big losses there.

Didn't end up predicting many upsets really (well, outside of 9s winning, but those aren't really upsets). I have American over Tennessee, purely on Patriot League pride, although that would certainly qualify as the 1st Round shocker we've all been waiting for. Otherwise, most of the upsets I have would come on Saturday/Sunday, with a few 5s/6s/7s making the Sweet 16 instead of the 2s, 3s and 4s.

I am still reeling over WKU's win over Drake (final four). It has honestly drained any enjoyment I have gotten so far from the tournament, but losing Vanderbilt (Elite 8) was also a killer blow, too.

I think the only way I win the AGS pool is if San Diego makes it to the Final Four.

Tomorrow won't be as good (given I've already lost Clemson from the 8 xdohx), but a key upset or two (really just Michigan State xprayx), and this is probably the best bracket I'll have had since 2001 xnodx xrotatehx

I'm in pretty good shape. I have UNC-Louisville in the east, Wisky-KU in the midwest, and Stanford and Xavier coming out of the other two regions. Hopefully MSU beats Memphis. Stanford is the biggest wildcard since i have them in the title game against UNC.

Well Stanford has basically killed me although much of that credit needs to be given to their coach. They had the game down to 1 pt then Trent Johnson decides to only play 1 Lopez at a time taking away the Cardinals' main advantage. Texas proceeds to go on a 17-3 run and put the game out of reach.

I nailed all four games tonight & moved from 30-something'th place entering the day to a tie for 15th. place tonight. Not meaning to brag, but I was the only one in the AGS Yahoo Group to pick Davidson to the Elite 8.

Losing my runner-up pick (Tennessee) hurt, but if Memphis wins the title, I am guaranteed at least 4th. place. In that event, only TexasTerror (who shamelessly picked the higher seed in every single game), 89Hen, & Whitey could beat me:


If Memphis wins the title, 89Hen would need UNC to make the title game & UCLA to beat Xavier to beat me. On the other hand, if Memphis wins the title, Whitey would need Kansas to make the title game & either UCLA to beat Xavier or Louisville to beat UNC. TexasTerror can beat me in the same manner as 89Hen, but he can't win the AGS Group because he's 2 points behind 89Hen & they have the same picks from here on out. One oddity: this set of scenarios puts me in the ironic position of rooting for Davidson to beat Kansas even though I picked Kansas to win that game in my bracket.

Worst night of the tournament so far, but I had to figure this one was coming at some point :(

Already was going to lose Kansas-Villanova, but also lost Wisconsin and Michigan State. Most unfortunately, I had both of them in the Final Four xbawlingx xbangx

Ironically, if Davidson wins the whole thing I can finish in 6th. That is the best case scenario for me. If Kansas wins the championship then I finish in 8th. A very respectable showing, despite the bracket.

I just realized it. If Kansas wins I will stay in the Top 10. if Memphis wins I drop to 11th.
