The SWAC tournament (http://www.swac.org/multimedia/docs/2008_dual_trny_brackets.pdf) tips off today in Birmingham. On the Men's side the Alabama State Hornets are our best shot at not being in the play-in game. Although the way the season has went who really knows who will win. On the Women's side Prairie View has the strongest team, but there are a couple of challengers that will put up a fight.

I looked at the brackets and saw the final is on ESPNU. Too bad. Is that station on any cable systems or do you need a dish?

It is on cable in certain areas. Check with your local provider.

ESPNU? Is this the only championship game not on CBS, ESPN or ESPN2? Outside of MWC on Versus, seems only MEAC and SWAC are pushed off the major three providers. Surprising...

Most SWAC events that are televised are on ESPNU, I think it was part of the agreement ESPN had with the SWAC.

You called me Malcolm X. Wow. I didn't realize you thought so highly of me. Thank you for the compliment.

SU's womens team is way more talented than PV. Pugh said it her self. She said it should be no excess with this team because we have everything we need.
