Its official. If the White Sox win today they win the Central division. BECAUSE even if Cleveland wins there final 4 games they will end up w/ a matching 96-66 record and SINCE the Yanks and Red Sox play each other also- it would be impossible for both AL East teams to match that 96 win mark. And since the White Sox own the head-to-head record (11-5) the White Sox would win the Central division and the Wild Card winner would go to Cleveland. So its official- our Magic # is 1 ! We win today- we are the Central Division Champs!!!!!!!

The magic number for the Astros is now down to 2. If we win two more games we clinch the wild card spot. Sorry Philly fans, we are at home these next four games. Lights out baby! :) :p

Good job, Sox. Now win at least one in Cleveland and avoid all those stupid tiebreakers!

The swashbuckling Red Sox appear to be going down! The Jays had their number this year, and they head to Yankee Stadium to finish the season. :p

Actually the Yankees head to Fenway on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Should be a great ending!

Bud Selig and the MLB bigwigs have to be thrilled that the only real race left is going to be decided with the Yankees and Red Sox going at it in Fenway for 3 games, with almost (read: no) safety net for the loser.

1 win for the tie, 2 wins for the division outright, and 3, well, just because :D

Let's Go Yankees!

Or 1 win and a Philly loss... Pettitte going tomorrow and I do believe he struggles vs the Cubs

Pettite is on a seven-game win streak, but he is winless in six career starts versus the Cubbies...

Astros have big guns in Clemens on Sat and RoyO on Sunday. If the bats come out in any of these three games, sure fire wins.

Nice pitching matchup for Phillies-Nats tonight with Lidle-Hernandez.

Hernandez is usually tough on the Phils. We'll hope for the best and hope for a major 'Stros choke! :p
