Did anybody catch that special (http://sports.espn.go.com/espnmag/story?id=3286059) on ESPN about the players from Belle Glade and Pahokee? It's amazing an area that small produces so many players.

Yeah, it was an excellent segment......didn't Sports Illustrated publish an articl about this topic like, 15 years ago? Back when UF, UM and FSU were all pre-season Top 5?

I think they did. There's some good football down there.

It's amazing that they can actually catch the rabbits. Hell if I lived there maybe I could have made the big time!

It's like how the coach said, that's how he makes his depth chart. If you can catch rabbits you're a skill player, it you can't then it's the line for you. xlolx

That's all they have to do down there is play football. That's why I'm glad most of the good schools here in Tampa are 4A and 5A, they don't have to play Glades Central, Pahokee, or Glades Day.

I just wish some of the Muck City kids were Rabbits, rather than chasing them. SDSU Jackrabbits that is.

Get some coaches down there, lots of kids leave the state to play ball. xthumbsupx

The Hilltoppers are getting one of those guys in this season, Anthony Sheppard, I think is his name. He is a QB and pretty fast I can assume from the story.

He's a good QB led Pahokee to the state title this year.
