There's a new No. 1 this week in the Nike/Inside Lacrosse Media Poll, as Hopkins fell to No. 4 after an overtime loss to Hofstra and Duke took over the top honors after a dominant 21-8 win over Loyola.
Virginia and North Carolina jumped to the No. 2 and 3 spots, with the Wahoos taking the lone first-place vote that didn't go to the Blue Devils. Syracuse - an overtime winner over Georgetown Sunday, remained at No. 5. Delaware and Navy moved up two spots each to eighth and 10th, respectively, with Georgetown dropping out of the Top 10.
The Flying Dutchmen earned a huge bump after their home win over Hopkins, going from unranked all the way to No. 13 this week. UMBC, Fairfield and Ohio State also make it into the rankings this week in the final three spots, with Towson and Denver dropping out.
The Nike/Inside Lacrosse Men's Division I Media Poll comes out each Monday during the spring and is voted on by members of various media outlets throughout the country.

Once again I love being winless and yet still ranked in the top 20. WE have had two killer loses in the last week, especially saturday in 3OT to Delaware.
BTW, I love that they call Hofstra the "Flying Dutchmen" and not the "Pride." xthumbsupx I, for one am not a fan of "The Pride."!
