You gotta wonder if something gets put in the Bobcat Gatorade come February & March. They fired Mick Durham because the team kept falling apart down the stretch, but they've done the exact same thing in 2 years under Brad Huse.

Ironically, the Montana State men's team has more NIT wins (1) than Big Sky Tournament wins (0) in this decade.

Same deal with cat/griz wins vs playoff wins in football. Gotta love it. xnodx

I usually cheer for the Cats in basketball outside of playing UM. However, they do seem to have this effect in both football and basketball where they just pee the bed down the stretch.

Northern Arizona beat Weber State 75-70, and will face the winner of the Portland State/Idaho State game in the Big Sky conference title game.

Those are homeopathic, so don't take the plastic sheets off quite yet.

This is embarassing. I'm watching the Portland State vs Idaho State game on Altitude, and the attendance must be less than 500. Why do they insist on having the conference tournament in the Rose Garden, when no one shows up? xnonono2x

NAU - the Buffalo Bills of Big Sky basketball xbawlingx

Glad we get there, but damn, wish we could get over the hump.

Weird note: in 7 of the last 8 Big Sky Championship Games, the loser has either been NAU or EWU. The only exception was '05 when Montana beat Weber.
