20 years, to be exact, since the '88 Cornell squad.

True, but remember Yale shared the regular season title with both Penn and Princeton in 2002. Penn won the Ivy playoffs, beating Yale in the finals to advance to the NCAAs. Yale and Princeton both had to settle with NIT bids.
But it has been 20 years since an Ivy team other than Penn and Princeton won the Ivy title outright and represented the league at the NCAAs.
Anybody think Cornell can get a 13 seed? I think 12 is too high and 14 is too low.

I think if they finish with a 14-0 Ivy Record, and a 22-5 record overall, they may be able to get a 12 seed. I think Cornell may be able to be competitive in the tournament given how they have completely dominated the Ivy League this year.
Otto, or anyone else who has been to a Cornell basketball game this year, do students at Cornell follow the basketball team? I know that hockey will always come ahead of football and basketball, but I wonder if students have been excited about the basketball team, and their berth in the NCAA tournament.

I saw their game against Duke in January. They hung with the Devils in Cameron pretty well. I'm not sure I'd pick them to grab a win, but they're going to be a tough out, for sure

ESPN said it was the first non-Penn or Princeton repeat Ivy champ since Dartmouth (!) in the late 50s. Great work!
