Another bit was his response to the whole Red Sox Nation stuff. From his comments I dont think he understands exactly what it is..... Red Sox Nation doesnt refer to the United State, but to the fans as a group.
His comment was, "My only point was simple and that is that the Yankees brand is the biggest in the country. And everybody knows that. Obviously it's Yankees Nation."
Yes Hanky, the United States may have more Yankee fans (because a large majoity of Americans are bandwagoners) But that doesnt make the United States Yankee Nation, its still an American Nation.... your fans certainly can be Yankee Nation though.
