I guess we'll find out. I do think it's pretty immoral to offer a guy a scholarship on condition that he not talk to other schools then pull it after he misses the opportunity to talk to other schools.

I'll always side with the kid in a case like this. Recruiters blow smoke up your a$$ and promise you the world, then when you get there they don't know your name. I'd bet dollars to donuts that the family is telling the truth and the kid is getting screwed.

I agree with you but the smoke blowing really does go both ways. App was recruiting a guy that committed to CCU then us and finally settled on GSU... I'm not saying that I agree with the school because I believe the kid is telling the truth here too but something really does need to be done about recruiting. A school should not be able to rescind a scholly because the coach left, just like a kid should not be able to back out of a committment if the school fires the coach.
