Mountain Hawks clawed out of a 9 point deficit early in the second half and outscored the Crusaders, 39-26 in the half to get a likely #3 or at least a 4 seed home game on Wednesday night when the Patriot League playoffs begin. Marquis Hall scored 23 points and sole senior Byron White was his usual steady self under the boards. However, good bench support in spelling White and Carrington by Anderson helped alot. Lehigh defense was very spirited throughout harrassing Crusader ball handlers and is what kept them in the game through an ice cold first half of shooting. Lehigh was lucky to be down by only 32-26 at the half shooting barely over 20%. Hall's 3-pointer to put Lehigh up 44-42 with about 8 minutes left capped a 9-2 run and the Mountain Hawks never looked back. Rest of the PL plays on Saturday..Lehigh finishes regular season 14-14, 7-7 in PL.
