Clippers Release Cassell; Destination Boston

Sam Cassell was released by the Clippers today and he will join the Boston Celtics as soon as he clears waivers.

Cassell has cleared waivers and signed a contract with Boston, Cassell will arrive in Boston tomorrow to deliver the contract and himself to his new team.
