2008 St. Francis Schedule (http://www.francis.edu/AthTemplate2.aspx?id=16900)
Slowly but surely, the 2008 FCS schedule coming together. That makes half the NEC with schedules released. xthumbsupx

Guarantee you Albany will be last-- But it will be the best NEC schedule :) I think we are dotting the I's now.
Very SOLID schedule by St. Francis. The right amount of competition they need right now. I hope they continue to improve and we can see another scholly team on the schedule next year.
It will only help the NEC.

Unless you count Bryant...they are in year 1 of transition, correct?

Actually, nothing new there. They may have been mostly playing MAAC and PFL, but St. Francis has played only 1 sub-DI in this century (Gannon in 2003) compared to opponents from the Patriot, Big South, and MEAC.
As for Bryant, I'll give them a pass because they're a future league member.

Correct. I would count them as a Independent DI wouldn't you?
They play an almost all DI schedule (two DII games).

Bryant will be a first year transitional D-I team. Last year was their "exploratory year."
I'm pretty sure they count as a D-I win for opponents, but they do not count in RPI (all sports) until 2009-10.

Nice schedule, but im not so sure their athletic dept. should have included those all-time series records in the press release. Ouch.

like the schedule and I am glad a bunch of NEC teams are staying away from DI teams.

If last year was exploratory, then they will not count as a D-I win this season. They're in the same boat as UND and USD.

I would, especially since they will be a conference mate (I think?).

Yes, they will be a member of the NEC, in 2011 or 12 I think. They have 6 NEC teams on the schedule this year along with UMass, Marist, Iona and 2 DII's.
