THe homer also was Rollins 13th lead off hr as a Phillie--one shy of Juan Samuel's team record of 14. A PHils win tonight puts them 1/2 game back of the 'stros.

It will definitely carry over if it continues through the last game of the year. They treat pitcher win streaks the same way.

In the event the Phils would make the playoffs, do those game count toward 'the streak'?--I would think they would. A game is a game, whether it's playoffs, world series or whatnot.
