There is no way Clayton ever played ball. And I agree Salisbury brought very little to the table, but he was still better than Emmit Smith xlolx

And he was a crappy QB too!xnodx

Don't you mean Michael Irvin? Or perhaps you mean any member of the Dallas Cowbitches??

I thought Irvin was entertaining. Emmit can't read or speak English. Listen to him talk. He sucks.

NFLN got rid of Emmit when he tried out for them right after he retired.

I think they both suck! :p

So does Troy Aikmann!

And Daryl Johnston!

Aikman does fine but if you look at him talk, it looks like he just got botox done around his mouth. His facial expression stays the same.

once and a while Aikman's lip does that Elvis twitch where it looks like a string is pulling the side of his lip up.

ESPN won't have too much trouble repalcing Salisbury. He was mediocre at best.

I actually didn't think Salisbury was too bad. Not good, but not bad comparatively.

What's with the guy who posted this blog implying Ron Jaworski is a good analyst? Has he ever said anything intelligible. The only "analysis" he puts forth is his belief that quarterbacks are gods & all other players serve as their peons.

Chris Carter is even worse. How about when Salsibury called Clayton the "Crypt Keeper" from Tales From The Crypt? I spit up my beer when I saw that.

The best Pro Football commentators are the guys on Fox. Terry, Howie and Jimmy make me laugh every time and they're all hall of famers who know their stuff. Especially Terry. At least he makes fun of his inability to comprehend the English language.

Bandl, how can you not like Michael Irvin as a commentator he was the greatest. He added excitement to a dull line of others. He and Steve Young fed off each other!

Terry, Howie, and Jimmy, two great football players and one great coach talking football, it doesn't get any better then that. xthumbsupx
