This is a thumbnail compilation of final stats and subtracting those
of roster departures due to graduation, eligibility, etc. Should
provide a quick sketch of returning talent vs conference foes.

RYPG = 2007 rushing yards per game
PYPG = 2007 passing yards per game
SR-RB = subtracted yards per game for roster departures
SR-QB = ditto
SR-WR = ditto
SR-OL = equivalent number of off-linemen departed based on
.. number of games played, not including long snappers if known
SR-D = percentage of defensive talent departed based on top 15 tacklers

Most improved should be Maine and W&M.

I gather a few things from that, JMU Will Be very solid next year, That New Delaware QB better be ready to fill some pretty big shoes, and Villanova Seems set next year.. given the relatively little production that we lose..
I agree that W&M should improve a lot, but I don't know how much i can agree with the idea about Maine..
They should have Beaten us last year with our biggest crowd of the year though

Stats like these are so worthless. A school could have 22 starters coming back, but if they went 0-11, then the best thing that probably could have happened for them if for everyone to graduate. Every runner could be coming back, but if they are slow and fumble all the time, good luck. Some schools will lose alot, but there backups are better than most of the returning starters on other teams. Worthless stats if you ask me.

I'm sure he'll get a shot. Reminds me of the situation when Mark Kelso came out of W&M. Didn't have everything scouts wanted, but made a nice career with the Bills. Lezotte's a winner, and I'm betting he sticks somewhere.
