If Colon is healthy, and the gamble pays off, Boston will run away with the WS. But, they aren't really investing much so if his arm falls off again it won't matter.

I think Colon is purely a insurance policy. It was a minor league deal... I would think Buchholz will be the 5th starter and Colon is there in case of an injury.

Not a bad insurance policy, but I wouldn't count on much.

Not a bad pick up. Didn't cost us anything.

I doubt we need him in the rotation, he can work at his own pace, and hopefully regain his arm strength.

I was sure this joke had been made before, but GIS says no. Remember those "Andre the Giant has a posse" stickers? Someone needs to 'shop us one up with Bartolo instead.
