Shields from Richmond (?) ran a 4.4 something. I think...I forgot it just that quickly, but the commentators were saying it was a very good time.
Jerome Simpson's second 40 run came in at 4.43.

He is listed at 5-10, 180. Not huge by any measure, but 4.27 is huge!xeekx

After his touchdown against Michigan, I remember thinking that he just made a whole bunch of money. That game and the exposure it got him probably made the difference between being a guaranteed draft pick and trying to catch on as an undrafted free agent.

Flacco did a 4.78 - not too shabby for someone that detractors think is immobile. Ryan, Henne, and most other top QB's ran slower than that.

The NFL network times are unofficial though I believe.
They've also ben saying Josh Johnson ran a 4.4, but the nfl page shows a 4.55. Pretty big difference.
Either way...still very fast

Felton's first unofficial 40: 4.75
Little disappointing, but about where I suspected he'd be.

4.37 in the combine is very fast. You can pretty much bet that the times there are going to look "slower" than what you hear about players over their careers.

Sigh....wish Foster would have gotten an invite. His 40 time would have blown Jackson out of the water.

Well, we'll never know. NFL Draft Scout had his "average" at 4.34 as compared to 4.36 for Jackson. Pretty close on Jackson if the 4.37 at NFL.com is accurate. NFLDraftScout had DeSean Jackson at 4.32 and he ran 4.35. It has Andre Caldwell at 4.41 and he ran 4.37. It had Will Franklin at 4.45 and he also ran 4.37.

He ran a 4.44 - and is one of the top performers in most of the WR categories.
Here's an article that mention Jackson and Shields as "risers" in the combine.

Jackson's 4.27 was hand-held. His electronic time was 4.37. Shields ran 4.38, and was in the top 2 on both shuttle runs. He also put up 19 reps on the bench.
