According to the New York Daily News, federal investigators have a picture provided by a young man who was at the now infamous Jose Canseco house party in 1998 that reportedly shows definitively that another guest was there: Roger Clemens.

Clemens testified under oath both in a deposition to Congressional staffers and in a hearing before the House Oversight Committee that he did not attend the party, as alleged by his ex-trainer Brian McNamee, who has accused Clemens of taking steroids and HGH. Clemens has denied those allegations repeatedly.

The photographer must have misdeveloped the photographs.xrolleyesx

The irony is that Clemens attendance at the party is unimportant to the issue of steroids. Clemens attorneys only brought it up in order to discredit McNamee (who was pretty much already discredited). Now it's Clemens who has further been discredited - only now under oath. The Republican congressman who ripped McNamee about the party looks even more like a fool.

I don't get it. Did Canseco have a party where they all were in a circle injecting needles into others asses?

Kind of. They were in a circle, and it involved a bunch of pricks, but not exactly like you were thinking

Not sure what you mean by that. McNamee is not a nice guy, but just about everything he has told the Mitchell Committe has been verified by others. He seems a far more credible witness than does Clemens. xnodx

Earlier in the investigation McNamee lied to protect his friends. His lies were not under oath.
I agree that he is far more credible than Clemens. My point was that he had already been proved a liar prior to the Canseco party testimony.

No. Only Clemens injected a needle into his ass. And then, under oath, he lied about it afterwards.xlolx

McNamee has as much credibilty as Sadam Hussein. The dude is a corrupt cop, and has already been caught in many lies. Maybe Clemens is lying, but why would Roger put himself in a situation to go to jail when he could just plead the 5th?

What a knucklehead Clemens is. I believe if he had come clean he might have come out a lot better. I also believe he has a horrible attorney.

I believe Clemens is lieing about his steroid use, but keep in mind, the photo has yet to be published. If the photo exists it does not prove he did steroids, but it further discredits his testimony under oath. Clemens has denied he was at the party.

Clemens will not get in trouble for steroids.

He might get in trouble for lying. That's usually the way it works. It's not the crime/misdeed that gets you in trouble, it's lying about it afterwards.
