In a real good heavyweight fight on HBO... Wladimir Klitschko survived three knock downs... two in the 5th round... to win a unanimous decision over Samuel Peter. All three cards had Klitschko winning 114-111. Other than the knock downs Klitschko dominated the fight with superior boxing skills... out punching Peter two to one... while winning 9 of the 12 rounds.

Does he have any QB skills?
If he does, send him out West! ;)

I thought that after three knock downs it was ruled a TKO?

The three knock down rule... (when in affect) applies only to knockdowns in the same round. Two were in the 5th... the other in the 9th

I am a Boxing fan.....and I thought the undercard fight was wonderful.
PLEASE Excuse the rant here:
Am I the only one who thinks that the Heavweight division is just a joke?
I am to the point of saying "Get rid of it"
That was considered a good fight????? It must be even Big George and Lampley where talking it up,..... put george on a lie detector- he would admit it was terrible, in fact he could knock either of them out on an hours notice.
I thought it was terrible- and a disgrace to the sport.
Both those guys are "Tomato cans" (old school Boxing fans....Please?) and do not deserve airtime, let alone a belt.
On the flip side- the lighter weight classifications are turning in the best fights week in week out I have ever seen. ESPN, HBO, SHowtime, Fox.....lot's of great fights and exciting fighters (Heart)
rant.....deactivated.

Maybe Klitschko proved it finally doesn't have a glass jaw after all.
