the website is up for the next edition of the game.

looks like the game is going to be on the Wii this time.

Interesting poll taking place. You can vote for one mascot that will be on the Wii cover of NCAA 09. Monte is one of the candidates.

You can vote from now until March 14th.

just go to this site http://www.easports.com/ncaa09

and click on "VOTE NOW" on the right side of the screen.

they only important thing is if they will add FCS teams. Hell it'd be great if just App. st were there

I don't think they've updated the FCS rosters in years. I played a friend's copy of 2008, and Richie Williams was our starting QB. If they can't be bothered to update the rosters for three years, I can't be bothered to pick up a copy

PS2 has the FCS teams. Stupid next gen.

If Monte can be on the cover, my guess is FCS teams will be on all consoles.

Yeah I know, but as Bench pointed out they haven't updated the rosters since 2005.

I think they just took the mascot list from the previous PS2 versions. Monte was the only FCS mascot on there.

Everyone on this board should vote for Monte. If Monte wins, that may force EA to put FCS teams on the next-gen versions (if they aren't going to already).

Hell yeah they should. Only two time national mascot champ!!!!

But for all of FCS this would be great, on the last issue of ESPN the Mag they had an App st "fan"

I'm pulling for him, but being the only FCS representative, Monte is like the token black dude on the list. I guess it would have killed them to include Yosef or YouDee. I really hate EA

Note to Notre Dame and West Virginia: if your mascot resembles an actual dude in a Halloween costume, you fail. Everyone knows that proper mascots have googly eyes and wear sweltering felt. If your mascot costume doesn't have eyeholes and over-sized feet, you don't have a mascot - you have a cosplaying cheerleader

The reason Monte has been included is due to the fact of his national championships and regularly appearing as one of the "finalists." I konw YouDee has been there before but i don't think Yosef has. Plus Yosef isn't what comes to mind when "outsiders" of the FCS think App. St. If anything Corey Lynch should be on the cover!!!

Yeah, FCS is on PS2, but The Citadel still has those bush league XFL lookin silver helmets, and our numbers are all wrong. Duran Lawson is the starting QB, but he's slow and also wears number 5, when in actuality he's number 7. And what's with every FCS team having D- stats all across the board? App St should have at least C- stats!

They're not the wrong numbers just the wrong year. I think the rosters are from 2005
