a FG won't help Penn...they have to score a TD

I have to admit, at 24-7 I had given up hope for the Cats. The Quakers are a strong team, ranked fourth in 1aa by Sagarin. With our back-up rookie QB, I didn't see how we could stay with these guys, let alone overcome a 17-point deficit. A most satisfying win, indeed! Hope you AGS voters are taking note! ;)

This (in my opinion) is way cooler than the win.

This was an ugly win,but I'll take it. :D
Cats didn't show up till about halfway into the third,to pull this one out of a hat. Perhaps the WORST officiating I've ever seen.
Many more like this & I wont make it through the season.Thought I blew a valve on the hail mary .

UMass had a nice crowd of 15000+ today... It was a great night in Amherst... I wish I was only there to see it though... on the flip side... I am home for the next two games vs Northeastern and JMU. Can wait!

This was a "home" game in name only for Nova as it was played on Penn's home field.

But unlike last Monday's N. O. Saints - NY Giants game, the "home" team won! ;)

True but a crowd of 23,000 refutes the Temple argument that fans in Philly will not come out for I-AA football. (Therefore go to the MAC Temple where fans are lining up to see Western Michigan.) :p

The crowd was pretty evenly split but I think Nova had a slight edge. What really impressed me was the student turn out, better,(and louder), than I ever saw at a Nova game.

Temple had less than 2,000 people at the Sat. game at Lincoln Financial Field!

Does that include the peanut vendors? :D
Pathetic excuse for a "major" program. TU's coach won't finish the season at this rate.

Not that it's great, but the published attendance for the Temple game was 8,922.

Does that mean there were about 7,000 "no-shows" (excluding the Temple players)?

If you saw the game on TV you wouldn't question it. It looked as if WMU and Temple were having a scrimmage at the LInc. :(

Reported actual was under 2,000. Sad but true, Temple needs to drop its football progam. Not that VU's attendance is great, but we draw about 9000 per contest.
