I'm going to ask our Attorney friends/posters for some free advice. Really. :)
I've noticed that Roger Clemens has spent a good deal of time lately meeting with members of Congress. This almost seems to me like meeting with jurors prior to the commencement of a trial. (This may be a bad analogy).

I assume that these meetings are legal, but do any of you see an ethical issues here? Either on the part of Clemens team or on the congress-people's part?

Not illegal in any sense. This is not a trial. Not unethical on his behalf...hey the want to meet with him.

Unethical is the POLTICIANS ACCEPTING THIS MEETING.

That being said, is it ethical for Greta, Larry King, Nancy Grace, Hannity and Colmes, and the rest of our pundits for even TALKING about a case publicly prior to trial.

If anyone believes there can be a fair trial by jury in this country with a high profile case, I submit evidence exhibit #1: MSNBC, FOXN, and CNN feeds of cases tried in the media prior to courts.
