There are lots of rumors out there that many aging female celebs are taking HGH to get muscle tone, this is highly plausible.

Highly plausible...and I am far from a ROGER fan...but I don't believe anything coming out of McNapuke these days. This is a troubled soul.
First-- why does he save stuff for the "future." Did he know 9 years ago that Mitchell would do an investigation? I mean this guy must have prescient abilities. That reeks more of holding stuff for FUTURE blackmail than anything.
Second-- I am sure the needles have DNA of Roger on it. Today, on Mike and the Mad Dog, Mel Stottlemeyre stated he saw Roger get injected right in the middle of the lockerroom...WITH B-12. Shoots down Emery today who stated it was a figment of Roger's imaginination.
Third-- Stored in a box? Are you kidding...dont you think you would put them elswhere? And why is he digging through Roger's trash.
Fourth- why didn't he hand this over years ago.
Fifth- why would Roger go through this process...where if he is likely found to have lied he is going to spend considerable time behind bars. He has MUCH more to lose than McNapuke.
Sixth- Why would he inject his wife? Seriously, wouldn't Roger take that **** home and go and bend her over and stick the needle in her ass.
Seventh- HGH does not work that quickly...it would not have "tightened her up" in time for that magazine.
NONE OF THIS MAKES LOGICAL SENSE AT ALL.
I actually thought he may have done this weeks ago...I was convinced...but not anymore. The more this guy and his attorney's speak...the more I just shake my head and laugh at how pathetic McNapuke is...and how embarrassed I am to be in the same line of work as his representation-- Those guys make Johnny Cochran look like a straight shooter.
SAD!

Oh and I might add...I am not going to even start with chain of custody issues. McNapuke's lawyer would never dare to enter that nonsense into a court of law.
For example, he shoots Clemens with anything...Lidocaine, B-12, whatever. He wipes Rodgers blood away. He puts them in a sealed baggie...we have something. Instead...he stores them in a can. But better yet, whose to say that POST injection of legal supplements, McNapuke grabs a bottle (moments, days, years after the fact) of HGH...sticks the needle in and shoots it out in the air. It leaves a trace.
Show that chain of custody.
Unfortunately, in the court of public opinion it is allowed.

Agreed the whole scenario is just ridicilious and any case against Roger should have more holes than swiss cheese. But as you say in the court of public opinion Roger is guilty, how many 40 year old gain muscle all of a sudden, and that may be what matters most.

Here is the thing though: According to reports, Roger has not been alleged to have gained muscle mass. In fact, he is about the same size as he was. It isnt a before and after picture thing like Ortiz.
It is argued he got better at an older age. I would argue...that would be true, however listening to Mel S. today, he told about crazy things (like putting Red Hot near his sack) that Roger did to stay in shape.
The argument that you cannot get better as you age (like Roger did) fails when you consider the following players who got better at the end of their careers:
Satchel Paige
Nolan Ryan
Brett Favre
Warren Moon
Jim Kelly
John Elway
****....Vinny Testervarde came off his couch to sling balls all over the field to win games.
Roger is a country boy who was a work out freak his whole life. This isnt a NOMAR gaining 30lbs...or a Kevin Millar going from shat hitter in the minors...to Japan...to being a stud for Boston.
This was a guy who was ALWAYS BIG AND STRONG. That, plus the small group of players above shows you can get better or perform to a high level at an older age.

Lets not forget that McNamee was a crooked cop before being a trainer. This guy is lying his ass off, in hopes to collect on a future book deal.

It's just a circus now. Tomorrow he will say he injected Clemen's cat so that it could "gain a speed advantage over the pesky mice!"

Latest development: Clemens says he can prove he was not at Jose Canseco's party where McNamee said he saw Clemens talking to Canseco, and after which Clemens started asking McNamee about steroids.
Apparently Clemens has a broadcast of the Blue Jays' game the day following Canseco's party, during which the announcers talk about the party and state that Clemens was not at the party.

OK.....I've been saying this to all the HGH crap since it started.....WHO CARES?!?!?!?!
First of all......was it against the rules to use HGH when the players in question allegedly used it?

Not the point. Clemens denies using it, and will testify so before a congressional panel. Someone is lieing. Think about motivation here. xnodx

I agree with you on the lying issue. What I don't understand is the whole "need to know" about who used HGH 10 years ago. Who freakin' cares? These guys are getting put in a situation where they are pretty much being cornered.
Plus, I get a little chapped when I see Congress wasting time on BS like this (and "spy gate" for that matter). Its over. It has been handled (new drug testing and policy) so let us just move on. Gosh.xcoffeex
For the sake of argument, change the scenario a little bit and replace HGH with ultrasound treatment. Very similar in their intention and could both fit in a broad definiton of "performance enhancer". What if 10 years from now we find out that ultrasound treatment is really bad for your body? Now if MLB decides to ban it from baseball, do you really think going back and investigating who used ultrasound in the year 2008 would do any good whatsoever? It's the same scenario as now. It is totally counterproductive. I wish a player with nothing to really lose would just come forward and say "Yeah. I used HGH in 1995. So what? Are you going to ban me for it now?" But Clemens and the like would never do that now and I don't blame them. They have too much $$$$ on the line for future endeavors (speech making, training, etc....).
