TRIGGER = 3: Both QB recruits received star ratings.

JUMBO =7: 4 of the 7 OL recruits are 275 or greater; 3 of the 4 DL recruits make it into the 250+ range.

NEEDS = 11:

Defensive Line = 5: 6 recruits, 3 @ 250+ and 2 rated. You just can’t do much better than that in Patriot League recruiting.
Offensive Line = 4: Even better than the defensive line with 7 recruits, 4 @ 275+ and 3 rated, one a 2-star.
Linebacker = 2: I guess I got a little spoiled after the way the Rams met their top two needs. 4 linebacker recruits is a good number, but only one is rated.

Think its fun you do this sort of thing. A few quick points.

Fordham has a transfer TE from St Joe Prep Philly (Iona) 6'2 225 and also one their recruits Darryl Whiting (RB) will be moved to TE. He's 6'4 200 athletic and runs a 4.6 40.

I dont know which recruits will pan out the best but Jamir Livingston looks like an absolute stud on film. A real 1A talent.

I like your recruiting ratings and as long as you put Fordham at number 1 after all teams report, I like it even better. :)

Does Livingston basically make this class or is it deep without Livingston?

He certainly helps it, LF11, but I think it's pretty balanced overall. This class, on paper at least, addresses our biggest needs on the OL & DL. Further, we have another guy who on paper/film appears to be the heir apparent to Skelton (Taaffe) and a frosh who looks like he can step in right away at K/P (Dean). Again, not much more that we could have asked for.

Here are Coach's comments that accompanied the press release. Obviously not much can be determined from these type of all-glowing press releases but from what I've been told, guys like Perryman, Livingston, Daley, Dean and Womack could see alot of time as frosh. Again, who knows until they step on campus when I'm sure some of these guys may not be as good as advertised and someone else will surprise, but, again, just very pleased overall as a Fordham fan: (post 1 of 2)
