NEW ARTIFICIAL TURF PLANNED FOR HARDY M. GRAHAM STADIUM
February 7, 2008

MARTIN, Tenn. - The UT Martin Skyhawks will play on an artificial turf in Hardy M. Graham Stadium this fall. The turf, made of polyester fibers filled with sand and rubber granules, will be installed May 1 with an estimated completion date set for July 15. Here are some fast facts about the project:

Estimated Start Date: May 1, 2008
Estimated Completion: July 15, 2008

Approximate Cost: $750,000 ($250,000 of the funding will come from friends of Skyhawk Athletics).

Artificial Turf in the OVC: Eight other OVC schools have similar artificial turf. Only Eastern Kentucky and Tennessee State will play on grass this fall. xthumbsupx

Thanks! I was planning on making up to Martin for the first meeting, but that was when gas prices went through the roof!!xnonono2x
