Hope it's a great game with Pansyborough bowing out with 39:00 minutes to go with 1.9 points due to a yeast infection caused by taking it too many times up the a$$. :D

Well since I live in NJ I am officially required to root for Duke (it says so on my driver's license and property tax bill).

Go Georgia Tech!! I hate both Duke and UNC, so this is really tough to root for either one, but I think I might have to root for UNC, just because I hate Duke a bit more.

Same here (Except for GT)....I hate Duke just a smidgen more, so I'll reluctantly be rooting for UNC.
Plus a Duke loss will ensure that all ACC teams have at least 1 conference loss.

I remember when Miami went on that little run in the late 90's. Somehow they were able to put together some really big years and even earned a #2 seed in the tourney. FSU seems like they're always a bubble team this year being the exception.

Regardless of tonights outcome UNCCH and Duke and Moo U will all suck. I can only hope that nobody scores in tonights game (which I will not check updates for) and that tyler hansborough gets his face smashed in. I've seen at least 10 carolina articles of clothing today on campus and about the same number of duke apparel and it truly makes me sick.

Well i'll take a Duke win since it sent 21,000 UNC fans home sad. Hopefully UNC can repay the favor at Cameron. IMO both teams are satin. I hope K-State plays UNC in the tourney so Beasely can make Physco-T his b*tch.

Yes...I'm quite aware of the score.....not as pissed as I thought I would be......had Heels lost solely because of Lawson being out, I would be bitter......but when your two perimeter scorers go a combined 4-24 with 11 points and your defense allows 13 3-pointers......well, they didn't lose because Lawson didn't play....they lost because dook took the game serious and Carolina was busy dancing on the sidelines during pre-game......congrats to dook.......they still suck....

I find it ironic that during the game Mike Patrick says "Over the years, Duke has shown a tremendous ability to take charges." Apparently he doesn't realize that over the years, Duke has shown a tremendous ability to get any call from the guys in the striped shirts. Simply amazing.

You know, I actually like Duke, but I think it's only because I really can't stand North Carolina. Seriously, it's the shade of blue - it's like a girl color, and they can call it Carolina blue all they want but at the end of the day their school colors are basically Baby Blue. It didn't look good on the Houston Oilers, and it doesn't look good on the Tar Heels.

yeah, they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with their shooting, but was that because of Duke's defense or Carolina's poor selection of shots? Dare I say it, was Roy outcoached? xeyebrowx

One of the main causes of dook's good shooting was the lack of Lawson though. Lawson would have been about 10x better at gaurding Paulus than Q was. And though it may have seemed like there was a lot of fast breaks for Carolina, they can not finish them without Lawson. There is a reason that Q is supposed to be 3rd string, he's only decent in spurts.
The game did show one thing about dook, absolutely no inside game, none. Of course the lack of Ellington/Green showed the lack of Carolina's outside game.
Looking forward to March 8th though (and probably ACC tourney as well), barring anymore dumb plays by FSU players on Lawson's ankle.

I have no problem saying Roy was outcoached......K made the correct adjustments and turned their weakness into a strength (smaller but more active guys under the boards; let Tyler get his, but make someone else beat you).....smae thing as Roy outcoaching K when Reddick was there.....start to rely too much on the main guy....everybody else standing around watching the all-american work his a$$ off...

It's a shame he got hurt that way, but that was the most physical play by an FSU player all year. And to top it off the Noles still found a way to lose. xnonono2x

Nothing really, but I wouldn't want us to run out and change our helmets to match FSU's, Clemson's, OSU's......at least the "A" is our's....I didn't realize how similar a blue hen and a wolverine were.....are they in the same genus and phylum category in the animal world? xsmiley_wix
