Penn State's campus is about 2 hours max from Janette Pa, and as the article states Penn States top recruiter Tom Bradley has been after him since his freshman year. However he still has yet to make an official visit and is stringing everyone along--Damm just pick a school, you cant go wrong with either --jeez

I think he's just pulling names out of a hat. Michigan, Ohio State, West Virginia (at one point), Oregon, LSU. xconfusedx

I understand picking a school is a difficult decision, but he has some of the best programs in the country begging for him. At either one you will play early and often in front of 100k people on TV every week in an offense suited to you--wow

Does he realize that schools have a given amount of scholly they can offer in a given year? Now it is highly unlikely that any of the schools that still have a chance at him are going to put themselves in a position where they are out of scholly's but you never know. Joe Pa is so darn cranky and isnt gonna cater to an 18 yo no matter who it is, he can tell Pryor to shove it. he may end up an IUP at this rate xlolx

I've seen pictures of the students at LSU, this decision is a no brainer.

Yeah, seriously, just pick one already. Every kid in America who goes to college eventually picks an actual one to go to - it's not that difficult, and at least most of them are deciding how they're going to pay for it. For a guy who's pretty cool in the pocket and can find the right receiver, he's displaying a very weird hesistancy not to decide.

Seriously let the kid take his time & make the decision he feels is right for him. Why do you guys even care?

Well, here's hoping he gets sacked 18 gabillion times his freshman year, a la Casey Clausen. I always root for publicity seeking snots like this to fail spectacularly.
But, if he decides not to go to Michigan or Ohio State (which, quite frankly is a good move because neither Tressel nor Coach Dick Rod put their QB's in the NFL), he ought to opt out of the Big-10 alltogether. I say a Big East or an ACC team!

It's not an issue of just "taking time." It's the publicity seeking and media baiting aspect of it that I think we all dislike.

Because he is a QB savant. He is a Vince Young clone who can actually complete a pass, whoever gets him will be very well set for the next few years. he has been recruited since his freshman year in high school and can literally pick anywhere--what more does he need to know at this point.

I heard hes coming to Appalachian State to understudy AE for 2 years and then have 3 years of titles here.

I heard that his dad wants him to go to Penn State and he's going to take a visit there, unless he doesn't, and Oregon is out of the race, but they're back in the race, and he might take a visit there too unless he decides not to.

Don't forget he's really only visiting Penn State because they made a hard pitch at his dad. xlolx

Look, he played QB all the way to the state championship, then is playong b-ball for a very good team I believe. He shouldn't be deprived of normal visits like all college bound players. He sounds like he would be a perfect fit at Michigan or Oregon, but let the kid decide.

The one thing with Pyror is he played so-so competition in HS. I would have liked to see him go against some of the 4A teams in the state who have LB's bigger then 5'9 180 lbs. The team Jeanette beat up on in the state finals was Dunmore which is about 15 minutes from me. They might produce 1 FCS player a year.

It was also stated by the three main schools Penn St, OSU and Michigan that he will get a shot to play on the Bball teams too.

He's entitled to take all the visits he wants, but there's no need to have statements everytime you change your mind on a school.

I heard his coach interviewed on the radio. His coach said he advised him to take all these visits. He said he told the kid he owed it to himself to really look at different potential options.
I think it's prudent to do what he's doing. He can pretty much go anywhere he wants and it's a big decision he only gets to make once. No reason not to get as much information and first hand knowledge of each situation before he commits.
