Bob Knight’s Grandchildren Scared That He Has More Time to Visit

Legendary basketball coach Bob Knight has retired from the game, citing fatigue and a loss of motivation. He said he plans to spend more time with his family – a claim that has his five grandchildren scared out of their little minds.
“I hate Grandpa,” said Sara Knight, the adorable 4-year-old daughter of Pat Knight. “I got up from the table before finishing my vegetables and he head-butted me back into my seat. I got a big owey on my head. And he wouldn’t kiss it to make it feel better either. He’s a big meanie.”

Mary Knight, the wife of the coach’s other son, Tim, admits she is uncomfortable having her father-in-law around her kids.

“He’s just an old-school disciplinarian, I guess,” says Mary Knight. “Right? I mean, is it old-school to yell at a 1-year-old for messing his diaper, and then rub the diaper in his face while screaming: ‘Don’t do it again! Don’t do it again, you little bastard!’ That’s old-school, right?”
