It will be interesting who all he takes with him. Luke Schleusner and Dan Jackson (Offensive and Defensive coordinators for Idaho, both through the SDSU pipeline at one point) are both still listed on the Idaho coaching roster. Schleusner moved to Idaho with Eck, while Jackson just joined in January 2024. Either could be ready for a head coaching shot too.

FootballScoop reports that Schluesner and Jackson are both going with Eck to UNM, as OL coach Cody Booth and DL coach Loni Fangupo.

Idaho has their guy. Thomas Ford, former Vandal RB and Special Teams coach, is returning to Moscow as the new Head Coach of the Idaho program. Ford spent last season as the RB coach for Oregon.
