CT Stars Head to FCS Schools
Fairfield County, CT seniors discuss their college choices in Princeton, Yale and Georgetown, why they chose FCS over FBS.
The ink will be flowing on National Signing Day, as several Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference football players will be able to turn their verbal commitments to play at NCAA Division I colleges into written ones at 7 a.m. tomorrow.
Staples offensive tackle Ryan Sedlacek leads the way as the only local who will sign with a Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly Division I-A). Five players will sign with Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-AA) schools, and three are still awaiting a decision, but are hoping to play at college’s top level.
