Popping my head in just to say, this edition of the Griz has been difficult for me to watch this year. Very inconsistent, and downright boring at times. We have the skill players, but the lines struggle, especially against 'elite' competition. Our Defense has definitely taken a step back this year, I expect SDSU to win comfortably, but I won't give up on our boys! Go Griz!

Supposed to be high 30s/low 40s at kickoff with a slight breeze and cloudy. Definitely an improvement over what we’ve had the last week or so. Should be a great day for football. I’ve always felt that anywhere in the 30s to 50s range is the best football weather.

Man, I would love to travel for this one because I've always wanted to see a game in Brookings, but I have prior engagements that night. :(

Give me South Dakota State and I'm not sure if this game will be particularly close.

Maybe if we snap it to Bergen 20 yards behind the line of scrimmage every play...

Could be an interesting wrinkle that ol Bobby cooks up! All the conversation has revolved around Fife and Ah Yat at QB... turns out Silenoz truly has the inside scoop on the plan... Bergen in the wildcat 20 yards deep every play. ha!

There's precedent (kind of). Idaho back in the early 2000s, and NAU a few years ago. We didn't have any quarterbacks for either game so we just rolled out other players leading the triple option and then the wildcat, to completely **** with the other team. Went 2-0 as well!
Granted both of those teams were not SDSU, but I digress!

The Griz also had a bye week before the 2003 Idaho game.
And, for those that don't remember, the 2017 NAU game was also the "QB Case Cookus ejected for targeting" game. xlmaox

My god are they seriously calling timeouts to cover?

Was 35-3 when Jacks starters got pulled. Bobby Hauck being a good sport and calling timeouts with under 30 seconds and going for two.

Well that sucked.
Congrats Jacks.
That's the best defense I've seen all year, and it's not close at all.
